Hi again. I found out the reason for not getting any sound. I was trying to run the .html directly. I copied the folder to the document root and typed http://localhost/my-folder/index.html and it runs perfectly! Thanks!

Have you seen this: http://topjailbreak.com/index.php/13/google-doodle-guitar-version-for-ipad-iphone-and-system-android/ ? It's working?

from where we can get chords of more songs............??????????????????

You can do a Google search and you will find many blogs where people have posted music notes. Remember, they are not referred to as chords but more usually as "music" or "musical notes". Here are some more:
National Anthem of Egypt---------------AF F AF F D F G HF H U K H F G H F D G F
BraveHeart----------------------------… G H K J K J H G H
GodFather-----------------------------… h k j h k h j h f g d
Happy birthday-----------------------------GGH… GGHGLK GGPKJH GGPKLK
Stand by me--------------------------------TUII TUII - ...IUYY UYY UY- TERR RETT- TUII TUII- IUYY UYY
Twinkle Twinkle------------TT-OO-PP-O-II-UU-YY-T…
Egyptian song--------------7 8 8 7 7 7 8 8 6 7 7 6 6 6 7 7 5 6 6 5 7 6 7 5 4 3

May I ask how did you add it to this website? I can't figure it out. The best result that I have got so far is just guitar strings without sound and other parts of guitar. I uploaded guitar11.swf to my website and changed the location in adobe flash player settings. It works fine in my computer. But I want this to work in my website. I tried uploading index.html to my website, I got just strings. I tried opening index.html with notepad and copying everything in there to my website, still just strings. Do I need to upload anything else or am I doing something totally wrong?

You also have to upload the js files that are included in the zip. It wont work without them.

Thank you!
It works now. I still had some problems with other guitar parts, but then I uploaded logos too and now it's working perfectly.

Cool! Sounds nice. :) Thanks for your comment.

Glad you all enjoyed it - if anyone has any music sheets for the keyboard, please do post it here... this thing is fun! addictive to say the least!

ya..it' working now.......eyypiiii:D

Yayyyyy, working, thank you!!

me and my brother are rocking out thanks for making this!

@Mopet:

Thanks for the share. Yeah - that one just skipped my mind. It should be on always allow. Shockwave as a security feature will not execute the files, so you have to allow this feature.

hey guys, i got it to work!! its great thank you very much!!!

if theres no sound put this on your browser http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04.html

and then under secruty click "always allow" instead of "always ask".

thanks again admin!!!!

@Penn:

That usually worked for me.... you should be able to run it. Check if any other application might be using sound.

set the setting to find the file but when i click the index file it displays, and interacts but still no sound. thoughts?

btw thanks for all of your help so far...

@Penn:

Type the link: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04.html into your browser.

A page will open up - this is the Adobe Flash Player Settings page.

Within this page, you will see a small square box - that says "Global Security Settings"

It should be showing you the location of your Guitar.swf file.

If the location is incorrect, then you need to edit the location. If not, then simply close this page and open the file index.html in your browser.

That's about it.

Did you type http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04.html into the Browser. Its right there in the instructions above.

I have the files on my laptop. they run except no sound. can you tell me what to do exactly please?

i use gom player ..but i didn't play:( when i play the swf. file its shows nothing.'cannot use overlay mixer' this shows only :(...what to do?? plz i want to save that guiter...

how do i get the sound working without uploading it?

You are a lifesaver, mate. The best post ever.

Downloaded fine, strings move but no sound. Using a Mac, is there a compatibility problem?

What is meant by Delete Existing Location and Add New Location? How does one change the location with regards to the 5 files in the zip folder?

You have to do the Adobe setting to change the default location - before you get the sound working. See instructions above.

I don;t see instructions on tweaking the adobe settings. can you please explain.
thx !!!

no soudnd from the guitar

awesome. Just one note... in the Amazing Grace tune, it should be 6532 instead of 7532.
